Plot to sabotage PM's rally foiled

Sukkur Police on Tuesday arrested two terrorists and recovered 12 Kalashnikov rifles and ammunition, as they foiled the plot to target Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilanis rally organised in connection with the foundation day of Pakistan Peoples Party. The arrests were made when Excise Police raided a truck at Sukkur-Shikarpur Road during which drugs were also seized from the terrorists possession. According to the officials, weapons were being transported to carryout an attack during the prime ministers meeting. The police, however, refused to provide further details.
