ISLAMABAD - Heaps of garbage in the federal capital go unattended, as there is a shortage of sanitary workers in Sanitation Directorate of Capital Development Authority (CDA).  Sources said around 400 posts are lying vacant in the Sanitation Directorate, as the contractor, who was given the task to manage cleanliness in the city has not hired the workers up to the needs in order to save funds.

As a result, G Sector, Sector F-11, H-10, I-10, and the small and big business centres of Islamabad have turned into dump. The citizens have recorded relevant concerns and have invited attention of CDA towards this grave issue.
