LAHORE – The City District Government has raised salaries of the work-charged employees and District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal has issued notification in this regard.

The DCO said the hardworking work-charged employees are an asset of the CDGL and their rights would be protected at any cost.

According to notification, daily wages of skilled work-charged employees has been increased from Rs 490 to Rs 530 while daily wages of unskilled employees has been increased from Rs 300 to Rs 380. Further, monthly salary of part time category has been increased Rs 3000 from Rs 3600.

Also, the DCO said strict action would be initiated against non-cooperators in Anti-Polio drive. He stated the CDGL was using its all possible resources to facilitate the citizens and to administrate polio drops to all children below 5 years age.

He expressed these views while paying a surprise visit at Thokar Niaz Baig Multan Road & Scheme More to inspect performance of polio teams. He showed satisfaction on performance of field staff in 3 days Anti-Polio drive.

Meanwhile, he also inspected development work at Multan Road and directed administration to speed up the work.
