Mohal joins PML-Q


LAHORE –Former Punjab Assembly deputy speaker Manzoor Mohal’s nephew Salman Mohal has announced joining the PML-Q during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi.
Salman Mohal, who was also former ticket holder of PML-N from PP-280, Bahawalnagar on Friday met with the senior PML-Q leader.  Speaking on the occasion, Pervaiz announced that Salman would be the party’s candidate from PP-280 in the next polls and contest the elections with the support of sitting PML-N MPA Asif Manzoor Mohal.
He said the PML-N would be decimated in the result of next polls, as people of the province vote for the PML-Q.
Salman claimed that his cousin Asif Manzoor Mohal advised him to contest next elections on the ticket of PML-Q and announced he too would not contest next polls from PML-N ticket.  However, Asif Mohal through a press statement rejecting the claims of his cousin, Salman Mohal and PML-Q top leadership said that he would remain with the PML-N and would not support candidate of the PML-Q in the next elections.
