LAKKI MARWAT - The office-bearers of Laspaveja Welfare Committee called on MPA Munawar Khan Marwat at his residence on Friday and apprised him about the problems faced by the residents of Hafizabad locality of Lakki city.

Gul Tayyaz Khan Marwat, Akbar Khan and others informed the lawmaker that the residents were confronted with the problems of power supply and poor sanitation system.

They requested that funds should be provided for installation of power pylons and pavement of streets.

Munawar Khan told the committee’s members that to provide basic facilities to the inhabitants of urban locality was on top of his priority. He said that millions of rupees were spent on small and mega uplift schemes in Lakki city during the last four and over half years. He said that the urban locality would be made a model one by paying special heed to its beautification and development. He assured that he would arrange special funds for installation of electricity poles and pavement of streets in Mohallah Hafizabad locality.
