President Nawaz Sharif has said that his party's manifesto would be a roadmap for transforming country into a developed and prosperous state.

Addressing the 5th meeting of Manifesto Committee in Lahore on Saturday‚ he said the final decision regarding manifesto will be made on 31st of this month on the foundation day of their party.

He said that peace is vital in the country to enhance foreign investment. He said that his party would resolve health, price hike, unemployment and load shedding issues after coming in power.

Nawaz Sharif said that with these measures prosperity would prevail in the country and employment opportunities would be created.

Sharif said that the draft of manifesto is not merely hollow slogans but is based on realism.

During the meeting, manifesto committees formed in the last meeting presented their proposals. The meeting expressed satisfaction that all points in the previous manifestos were not only implemented but also measures were taken for economic prosperity and public welfare.

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Parvaiz Rasheed, Humayun Akhtar, Shahid Khakan Abbasi, Tariq Azeem, Marvi Memon and other party leaders were present in the meeting.
