KARACHI  - A two member Sindh High Court bench comprising Justice Sajjad Ali Shah and Justice Irfan Saadat on Friday ordered senior government officials of Sindh to submit their response on December 17, against a petition about frequent traffic jams in Karachi.

Sindh Home Secretary, Inspector General of Sindh Police, DIG Traffic, Karachi Commissioner and  Sindh Building Control Authority Chief have been asked to furnish the court with their reply to the complaint filed by the National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH). 

NFEH President Naeem Qureshi, has cited above mentioned officials as respondent for his petition related to violation of citizens’ right due to unchecked traffic gridlock and massive encroachments of major thoroughfares in the metropolis.
