ISLAMABAD - Going by its past traditions, the government functionaries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and public office holders used their official vehicles to join the public meeting of PTI in Islamabad on November 30.

According to a report of civilian intelligence agency, more than 100 vehicles of provincial government of KPK were monitored on Sunday as it were entering Islamabad to join the public meeting.

Chief Minister KPK Pervez Khattak, who was supposed to stop others from misusing KPK government resources, came to Islamabad leading a convoy of six Land Cruisers including the Land Cruiser having facility of jammers.

According to the sources, a special pilot of Islamabad Traffic Police led his convoy to KPK House Islamabad.

According to the report, most of the public office holders of PTI were using their official cars and it has been recorded in the video cameras at all the entry points of Islamabad. The intelligence agency has the exact figures of incoming cars to Islamabad and it is all recorded with the agency. Most of the participants were coming from the KPK province.

According to the footage available with the agency, a few cars had the green number plates while many others were bearing private number plates as a security measure. Most of these vehicles were parked on the back of the stage of PTI rally of Islamabad and some of them were parked at KPK House Islamabad. According to an intelligence official, the KPK government has allotted A-series numbers to the official vehicles.

Many of the government functionaries of KPK used to use their vehicles to attend the Dharna of PTI at D-Chowk Islamabad and they are continuing with the same.
