ISLAMABAD - Consul general of Pakistan in Dubai and Northern Emirates Javed Jalil Khattak has said that there exists a vast potential to enhance trade and business relations with the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf states.

He urged the Pakistani businessmen to tap this potential for the benefit of brotherly countries.

He was addressing members of Pakistan Business Council during an interactive consultative session-cum-dinner hosted in their honour, said a message received here from Dubai, UAE on Sunday.

The objective of session was to create synergies for enhancing bilateral economic relations, especially trade and investment relations.

The Consul General also urged the philanthropist Pakistani expatriates to come forward in community building efforts including educational, health and legal services for the Pakistani community.

He also appreciated efforts of the Pakistani business community for accomplishing bilateral trade landmark figure and hoped that the community would strive further to attain the higher volume of bilateral and investment.

President Pakistan Business Council thanked the Consulate General of Pakistan for providing an opportunity for the members to create linkages for enhancing bilateral trade relations.
