PPP Secretary Information Fauzia Wahab has said that by singing the women empowerment and protection bill into law, President Zardari has proved that women empowerment is one of the top most priorities of the PPP government.Talking to a private news channel, she said that women who are harassed at offices and homes will now feel protected after singing of the bill into law.She said that PPP government is women friendly and it thinks that as long as women are not empowered, they cannot play their due role in the society. About President visit to Karachi and inaugural of several developments projects there, she said that the President opened several development projects, especially those concerning women empowerment. She added that women is vehicle of charge in the society and as long she is not pulled out of poverty, she cannot contribute to progress and prosperity of the nation.
