LAHOREThe Railway passengers across the country will be charged with 15 per cent to 20 per cent raise in fares at mail, express and non-stop trains from Tuesday (today). According to the notification of Pakistan Railways, the fare for the AC sleeper of mail express trains between Karachi to Lahore is raised by Rs 550, AC parlor by Rs 100 and lower AC by Rs 270. The fare of the AC sleeper, AC parlor and lower AC between Lahore to Rohri will be charged with the increase by Rs 390, Rs 210 and Rs 180 respectively. The passengers of the said three classes between Lahore to Quetta will be charged Rs 540,Rs 280 and Rs 250 and between Lahore to Rawalpindi Rs 160, Rs 90 and Rs 70.
