SARGODHA - Police foiled a bid to supply unhygienic and stale meat to Rawalpindi and seized its huge quantity from illegal stores established nearby official slaughter house in the remit of Jhal Chakkian Police. According to the police sources, on a tip-off the police along with Health Department officials conducted a raid on private houses where huge quantity of unhygienic meat had been stored. The raiding team confiscated over 400 kg of stale and unhygienic meat.            –Reporter
However the accused allegedly managed to escape from the scene. Later the meat was set ablaze and FIR was registered against the fleeing culprits.
