Iftikhar condemns killing of Levies men



PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, has strongly condemned the killing of levy personnel by militants and has termed it a brutality and barbarism on the part of the militant.
In a statement of condemnation issued here on Monday, he said that such cowardly acts of the militants cannot demoralize the law enforcing agencies, the government and the nation adding that the war against terrorism will be fought to the complete restoration of peace. Eulogizing the bravery and dutifulness of the levy personnel, he said the sacrifices rendered by them for the great cause of peace would not go in vain. The provincial minister expressed heartiest feelings of sympathy with the bereaved families and assured them the provincial government will extend all possible assistance to them. He has prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
APP adds: Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, has condemned the kidnapping and killing of Levies personnel by terrorists at Kohi Hasan Khel, area FR Peshawar. He prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and expressed solidarity with their families on behalf of both people and government of the province.
Meanwhile, the chief minister also condemned terrorist attack on bus of pilgrims in Mastung and expressed grief over loss of precious lives and termed the attack a coward act.
