Too hot for some

We don't want to see Indian movies in our cinemas. Is there no other way the two countries can improve their relations? We all know that Indian culture and film industry already dominates our lifestyle. The declaration that "Pakistan was created so that Muslims of the subcontinent can have a separate homeland where they can freely profess and practice their religion" adorns our Pakistan Studies books but carries no weight or practical significance for us. I still remember the time about thirteen years ago when dish antennas were installed in our homes for the first time. Everyone felt awkward and abashed watching promos, the so-called 'trailers' of Indian movies. However, in very little time span, the whole nation has now became immune to the rank obscenity being aired on the Indian channels.
