MUZAFFARGARH - The outbreak of diarrhoea has been reported here as 14 children from three suburban villages have been brought to healthcare centre in Basira Town. The health department has dispatched a team to address the situation head-on. According to detail, on Thursday morning a large number of children, suffering from diarrhoea, were brought to the health centre Basira. Following the rising number of suffered children, the EDO Health dispatched a team of the health department comprising DO-H Zakir Siddique, a child specialist Irshad Ahmad Qalndrani, pathologist Shahid Qureshi and others doctors to Basira. Meanwhile, the doctors from the WHO also reached there. They not only provided medical aid to the affected children but also took their blood and urine samples for laboratory analysis. In order to improve hygienic conditions, necessary steps have been initiated in affected areas.
