ISLAMABAD - All Pakistan CNG Association Thursday strongly condemned the decisions of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) regarding three days gas loadshedding in Punjab and two days in Sindh besides the presence of the Sindh High Courts stay orders. In a statement APCNGA told that Chairman Supreme Council of APCNGA Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha along with Central executive members of association kept all day busy in consultation and meetings with Minister and Secretary Petroleum to stop them doing these unjust and discriminatory decisions but all gone in vain. Now APCNGA has called emergency meeting on Monday of its Central Executive Committee (CEC) to decide further line of action against this decision. Chairman Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha condemned the government policy of increasing electricity loadshedding and jacking up the CNG prices simultaneously. He termed it a robbery on the rights of four million consumers being committed by the government. He said the government is forcing them to adopt the path of agitation and protest. We do not accept this decision and would protest against it as we believe that there is no shortage of gas but if government wants, it could provide gas to all sectors and can put the country on the path of prosperity. But to favour some blue-eyed, the incumbent is discouraging the CNG sector, Paracha said.
