SARGODHA - A man swindled Rs2 million out of a cattle dealer by impersonating himself as an officer of Remount Depot. Muhammad Arif, a resident of Gujranwala, told police that Nadeem Sagar of Mubarak Colony offered him to sale 60 cattle. Later, he said, the accused took him to a canteen of district court and after receiving the amount he gave him a receipt and when he reached the Depot to take over cattle, the Remount Depot authorities declared the receipt fake and forged. They also said that there was no in-charge with the name of Nadeem Sagar there, he said. YOUTH THRASHED: Three persons forcibly shaved the head and moustaches of a youth after reportedly thrashing him brutally over a doubt of mobile phone theft. According to the police FIR, Mmtaz, Ghulam Abbas and Kashif has been suspecting Saqlain Abbas of stealing their cell phone in village Tarti Pura in the remits of Bhera police station. So, they incepted him on a road. Getting infuriated, they beat him severely with clubs.
