'Time will come when such vehicles will ply throughout the country, he added. In response to a question regarding increase in CNG price, he said the Federal government was not serious in controlling price-hike, while big institutions were running in loss and if these losses were reduced, there would be no need for any Kerry-Lugar Bill. Nawaz Sharif sat on the front seat while Zafar Iqbal Jhagra, Pir Sabir Shah and Mehtab Abbasi on the rear seats. On this occasion, talking to mediamen during inspection of Yellow Cabs, Shahbaz Sharif has said transparency was the hallmark of the Punjab government. 'Like Daanish schools, Aashiyana, Green Tractors and other projects, Yellow Cab Scheme will also be implemented in a highly transparent manner and it will prove to be a milestone in minimising unemployment problem. The scheme will result in job opportunities to the youth and they will be offered interest-free loans for the purchase of vehicles, he said, adding, that only those elements were criticising the projects aimed at welfare of the poor who looted billions and trillions of rupees and in whose tenure, a free hand was given to Qabza groups while huge sums were plundered in the name of development projects. 'These elements will feel nothing but shame if they saw their face in the mirror, he observed. The CM said that the Punjab government had taken solid steps in the budget for elimination of unemployment, including provision of loans to one lakh youth to enable them to stand on their own feet and support their families. 'About 20,000 yellow cabs will be distributed among the youth while one lakh computers will be gifted to talented boys and girl students. After success of this scheme, its scope will be extended, he said, while mentioning that the way green tractors were distributed in a transparent manner and a subsidy of Rs 4 billion was given while no complaint regarding their distribution was received. He further said Yellow Cabs would also be given transparently. 'In order to get rid of the charity of outsiders, the nation will have to rely on its own resources, and rapid progress is being made in this direction under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz said.
