LAHORE - Provincial Law Minister Rana Mashhood on Monday laid the foundation stone of a new hostel at Directorate of Staff Training in Lahore.
Talking to media on the occasion, he said that the evolutionary process of democracy was the only way to bring change to Pakistan. He also commented that Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) patron Tahir ul Qadri was doing the politics over dead bodies. Talking about Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, he said that getting power through Tsunami could not bring any change except creating chaos in the country.
Mashhood said that his party, PML-N, was taking practical steps for removing darkness from the country but their opponents were hindering the way of development. He criticized them, saying that those defeated elements were working on the agenda of anti-state elements.
Terming ‘Tsunami’ as a symbol of destruction, Mashhood said that the country could not afford any destruction. He said that the entire nation and Pak-Army were fighting against terrorism and on the day of independence the nation should express solidarity with IDPs.
He said that the APC of Tahir ul Qadri was a futile effort and Punjab government wanted to bring the facts of Model Town incident before the nation. He assured that the judicial commission would fulfill all demands of justice.
