LAHORE - The 47-member team of the Divisional Public School (DPS), Model Town, comprising boy scouts and teachers showed outstanding performance and grabbed overall first position in the scouts camp organised at training centre Ghora Gali Murree.
Around 800 boy scouts from all over Punjab took part in the different competitions including recitation of the holy Quran, Na'at and Speech contests, tent-pitching, first-aid and national songs contests.
The scouts of Divisional Public School, Model Town excelled in all contests and won overall first position.
On their return, the team members were accorded a warm welcome. DPS Principal Abdul Shakar Butt congratulated DPE Maqsood Ahmed, Scout Master Farhan Saeed and Mohammad Younas on outstanding performance during the camp.
Headmaster (Senior Wing) Azhar Mehmood, Headmaster (Prep Wing) Kamran Ali and Headmaster (Township Branch) Mohammad Zubair Faridi extended felicitations and warn wishes to the winning squad.
