Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lashed out at the government on Tuesday and said the government council is not only insulting the superior judiciary by lying and giving false statements but it is also taking the institutions on the path to collision. Nisar said the government should reassess its policies and not indulge into personal and political gains or else it should get ready for democratic reaction inside and outside the parliament. While talking to media representatives in Parliament House, the PML-N leader said the government was on a dangerous path and that it should stop accusing the judiciary to hide its own mistakes. He warned that if this attitude continued, the government will not be able to survive. Nisar said the advisers and the lawyers were pushing the government to a dead end and wanted to derail the system. 'We will not let this happen, he said.
