People protest against Israel

LAHORE - A protest demonstration was staged on Monday against the Israeli attack on aid flotilla. The protest was organised by the Unified Media Club of Pakistan (UMCP). A large number of journalists participated in the protest. They demanded of the government to take immediate steps for the release of Pakistani journalist Talat Hussain and other two Pakistani journalists. They chanted slogans against Israel with banners inscribed with anti-Israel slogans. They said that this attack was conducted on an aid mission which was going for the help of Gaza people. They demanded immediate response on the vehement Israeli attack on the innocent people. They said that this attack was on the freedom of Press. They said that America only raises voice against the Muslim world but not against Israel which was a proof of its discriminate behaviour. United Nations should also take strict notice of this Israeli attack. Israel besieged 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza, they added. The UMCP President Muhammad Hasaan stressed that steps should be taken for the immediate release of Talat Hussain.
