Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat leader Maulana Ahmad Ludhianvi said that the PML-N government had failed to deliver in accordance with its manifesto and reneged on its pre-elections promises.
Addressing separately a press conference at Bahawalpur Press Club and Defa-e-Sahaba conference, he said, “Change in the present system was a need of hour and only the system of Khilafat-e-Rashida can solve our problems.”
He said that loadshedding and sky-rocketing tariff of electricity had broken the backbone of common men. He said that the government had hoodwinked the nation on the issue of dialogues with Taliban. “Narinder Modi is an extremist and against the Muslims. He (Modi) was involved in Hindu-Muslim riots in Indian Gijrat. Extremism will become more powerful during his government. Pakistan is an atomic power. If anyone tries to impose war on it, we will teach him a lesson because we have a brave Army and the whole nation is on the back of it,” he said.
He said that if Imran Khan had announced an anti-movement four years ago, it would have been more beneficial. “Tahirul Qadri should sacrifice his Canadian citizenship if he wants to take part in the welfare of the nation. The decisions made in London or Dubai will never be in the national interest. Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat is demanding legislation against blasphemy especially against Ahal-e-Bait and Sahaba Karam (the companions of Last Messenger SAWW) for many years. Law must be made against those insult Sehaba Karam,” he said.
He also demanded code of conduct for the media. He said that he was defeated by cheating in the general elections 2013 and the rigging had been proved during proceeding in the election tribunal Faisalabad. He claimed to be “Safeer-e-Aman” i.e. ambassador of peace and said, “When I reach the Parliament, peace will rule in the whole country because I have the roadmap of peace.” He said that Pakistan should be freed from landlords and dynastic politicians.
Addressing the conference held at Karachi Mor, Bahawalpur, he announced that his party would contest the next elections. He said that his party was right on track and the hurdles would be removed to reach the destination. He said that during the month of Muharramul Haraam, all the TV channels committed mistakes and no one took notice of such mistakes.
On the occasion, JUI-F representative Mufit Kafayatullah said, “We condemn those insult Sehaba Karam. MNA Jamshed Dasti said that in the Punjab Assembly, attempts were being made to celebrate Baba Guru Nanik’s birthday at national level. In the upcoming session, a resolution would be presented for celebrating the special days of Khulafa-e-Rashideen at the national level and public holiday on these days,” he said.
Jamaat e Islami leader Dr Syed Wasim Akhtar said that the current government had come to power through fraud and fake elections. PTI leader Farzand Ali also spoke.
