The national, Punjab and Balochistan assemblies dissolved last night on completion of five-year term, reported by Radio Pakistan.

The assemblies of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa completed their term on Monday and stood dissolved.

The dissolution of assemblies paved the way for establishment of caretaker setups and conduct of general elections in the country.

The 14th National Assembly during the last five years of its tenure passed highest number of laws and accomplished landmark achievements.
