LAHORE - Lahore Police retrieved unpaid money of a widow Ayesha Bibi, a resident of Quetta, comprising dues amounting to Rs472,000.
Capital City Police Lahore Chief Ghulam Mahmood Dogar handed over the said amount to the widow lady in his office in presence of SSP CIA Shoaib Khurram Janbaaz and SP Operations Model Town Division Dost Muhammad.
The widow Ayesha, earlier had made a telephonic complaint with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan during telephonic interactive session of PM with common public “Apka Wazir-e- Azam, Apkay Sath” in which the lady had complained that Imran Asghar, said to be brother of SSP Zeeshan Asghar, the former tenant of her house situated at DHA Rahbar was not paying back the heavy dues using his influence.
According to the details, the mother of Ayesha Bibi, a retired teacher had constructed a single storey house at DHA Rahbar from her life savings and rented it to Imran Asghar in the year 2019.
The tenant had occupied her house illegally and did not even pay the rent. Lahore Police at the complaint of Ayesha Bibi and her mother, in 2020, had retrieved the possession of the house from the illegal occupant Imran Asghar and handed over the possession to actual owner.
The tenant, however had refused to pay the dues and pending rent of the house along with electricity bills and society charges amounting to Rs472,000 and got stay in this regard from the courts. The owner of the house, mother of Ayesha Bibi fell victim of cancer and it became very hard for Ayesha Bibi to make both the ends meet being a widow herself with a three years old son.
Ayesha Bibi had requested Prime Minister Imran Khan for help in this regard. CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar took immediate action and retrieved the unpaid money from the former tenant and handed over it to Ayesha Bibi in his office during a meeting .
Ayesha Bibi has expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Imran Khan, IG Punjab Inam Ghani and CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar for prompt action.
