The voices of opposition against the UN inquiry into Benazir's murder are not surprising for those who know the history of this country. Rather by opposing a fair and impartial investigation, these hard hearts are exposing the real identities of their masters. Their opposition shows to the people of Pakistan that Benazir's murderers are the sort of influential elements within the country who can handle and maneuver any domestic inquiry very easily. They are really scared of any international inquiry, though. They know that once the process is started, it would not stop until the murderers of Liaqat Ali Khan, Hussain Shaheed Suharwardy and Madr-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, are also exposed. -YASMEEN ALI, Lahore, via e-mail, February 8.
