ISLAMABAD - Law enforcement agencies have arrested at least 45 persons whom Raymond Davis contacted over the phone during his confinement, it is reliably learnt. The arrests have been made in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and the tribal areas, sources said. Davis, the American who shot dead two Pakistanis in Lahore, had been making telephonic contacts with different people mainly in Waziristan, reflecting the nature of his assignment in Pakistan, sources added. Reports following the arrest of Davis established his links with the CIA, a disclosure that had cast a chill on the already-fragile Pak-US relations.
