LAHORE Editor-in-Chief TheNation and Chairman Nazaria Pakistan Trust, Majid Nizami has stressed upon the government for taking action against the unchecked US spies network in the country. Presiding over the NPT Board of Governors session at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Monday, he said American spies had been roaming across the country. NPT Senior Vice Chairperson Begum Majeeda Wyne, Vice-chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Syed Ghous Ali Shah, Syed Faseeh Iqbal, Col (r) Jamshed Ahmad Tareen, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Waleed Iqbal advocate, Senator Naeem Hussain Chattha, Begum Mehnaz Rafi, Mian Farooq Altaf, Shahid Rasheed and Rafaqat Riaz attended. Majid Nizami welcomed the participants and said the Aiwan had been built by late Ghulam Hyder Wyne for the ideological training of the youth. Since that day, we have been informing the young generation that how this country had been achieved with sacrifices. Ideological Summer Schools were the examples in this regard, in which the students were being trained in a manner that they could confront the enemies conspiracies, he told. Nizami reiterated that the US, India and Israel wanted to disintegrate atomic Pakistan. He appreciated what he said the principled stands of Syed Ghous Ali Shah when the former Sindh chief minister had refused to accept Musharrafs proposal. He said Musahrraf had asked him (Ghaus Ali Shah) to be Sindh Chief Minister and upon refusing he had been sent to jail. He also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for his cooperation in NPTs activities. Begum Majeeda Wyne said the NPT had turned into a national institution and wished the overseas Pakistani should also be informed about the Trusts activities. Prof Dr Rafique Ahmed informed the board about the activities of the Trust in detail. He presented annual performance report and said the NPT Chairman not only guiding us in various matters but also the message of the Trust reached to millions of people through Nawa-i-Waqt Group of Publications and Waqt TV. He also informed them about the progress work on two main projects of the NPT, Aiwan-e-Quaid-e-Azam and Aiwan-e-Nazaria Pakistan. Shah said that informing the nation about the Two-Nation theory was the duty of every government, however, the NPT was performing this sacred duty. He said now the message of the Trust should spread across the country and he was ready to perform every responsibility in his province (Sindh) in this regard. Col (r) Jamshed Ahmed said unification among various factions of Muslim League was the need of the hour and it was in the countrys interest, he added. Mushahid Hussain stressed the ideological training should gain central position in education and 'we should seek the help of information technology for this purpose. He hoped 2011 would bring stability in the country and situation would become normal. Naeem Hussain, Waleed Iqbal, Mehnaz Rafi, Faseeh Iqbal and speakers congratulated Nizami and the management of NPT for the untiring efforts for ideological training of the nation. They discussed and consulted on future plans of the Trust.
