TANK - A ray of hope in connection with the release of two abducted Frontier Works Organization (FWO) workers ended in smoke, as the FR Tank administration has given no more time to a 10-member tribal committee to talk with alleged abductors, who are believed to be militants in North Waziristan Agency. An official source told this scribe that a creak down had been launched on Bhittani tribe under 21-Territorial Responsibility Article (FCR), reacting to which the tribe was all set to hold a grand jirga on March 02. The Jirga that was held after the efforts of a 10-member committee, engaged in talks with the alleged abductors in North Waziristan Agency, concluded without making any headway in connection with the safe recovery of two abducted contractors of FWO.
