BEIJING (Online) - Chairman Joints Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Khalid Shameem Wynne has said that military cooperation between Pakistan and China would be enhanced for defeating terrorism. He expressed these views while interacting with Chinese media during his visit to China In response to a question, he said that security situation in Pakistan is under control and action would continue against terrorists. Wynne said that Pak-China military cooperation would be enhanced for defeating terrorists and in this connection joint military exercises between the two countries would be held. He said that terrorism is a global issue and every country is taking steps to counter this problem. In response to a question regarding US and western countries mantra of do more, he said that US lack of confidence on Pakistan is nothing new but this will not affect the war on terror. He also met the Vice Chairman of Central Military Commission and other Army Officials and discussed the military relations between the two countries.
