LAHORE – MNA Khurram Dastagir on Thursday said that the intra-party elections had exposed the so called democratic posture of the PTI. He said that the infighting among different factions during the party polls had sent a message to the people that the PTI was neither democratic nor its tsunami had any substance. He said that the kind of ugly language PTI workers used against each other and the behaviour showed during the party polls was sufficient to tell the masses what sort of democracy this party would bring if voted to power. He said that a lukewarm response of the electorates to the PTI elections proves how much public support this party enjoys to bring about ‘change.’ “In metropolitan city like Lahore, the PTI could manage to get only 25000 votes,” he added.
