NPC vows to fight anti-state elements


LAHORE – Khanwada Hazrat Sultan Bahoo Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Ali has reiterated resolve to continue fight against anti-Pakistan forces, saying that any bid to destabilise the country will be thwarted.
He was speaking at the second day of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Conference at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tahreek-i-Pakistan Thursday. TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust (NPT) Chairman Majid Nizami was in the chair.
NPT Vice Chairman Prof Rafique Ahamd, Col (r) Jamshed Ahmad Tareen, Mian Farooq Altaf, Balochistan Times Editor Syed Fasih Iqbal, Dr Fareed Ahmad Piracha, Dr Samiha Raheel Qazi, Dr Ajmal Niazi, Maj General (r) Rahat Latif, Begum Surayya Khursheed, Rana Muhammad Arshad, Safia Ishaq, Begum Mehnaz Rafi, Dr MA Sufi, Dr Parveen Khan, Col (r) Ikramullah Khan, Ibrahim Tahir, Mian Tufail, Dr Yaqoob Zia, Aziz Zafar Azad, Anwar Hussain Qadri, Rifaqat Riaz , Pakistan Movement gold medallists and NPT office bearers from across the country attended the sitting.
Sultan Ahmad said the youth was the real future of the country and the NPT role in disseminating Pakistan ideology was very important. He lauded Majid Nizami’s efforts for conducting such a grand conference.
He also criticised those who worked against the fundamentalist Muslims in Afghanistan. He rejected the sectarian politics and said the religious parties should stand united to defeat the enemies.
Dr Fareed Piracha spoke on “Judicial Proceedings in Bangladesh against the Supporters of the United Pakistan”. He paid tribute to the NPT chairman for his lifelong service for the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ajmal Niazi lauded the role of print media. He said the NPT voiced for the Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s Pakistan. He said unity need of the hour to defeat the anti-state elements.
“Pakistan military is one of the best armies of the world,” he said. To give Gawadar port to China was a good decision, he added.
Dr Samiha Raheel Qazi spoke on “Role of Women in Society”. She said Islam raised status of women in the society that she lost in the western world. She said the need was to counter the satanic culture with the Quranic one.
NPT office-bearers also spoke on the occasion. They said the conference provided another opportunity for revisiting Pakistan’s ideology at a time when Pakistan facing challenges. They said they would continue this mission in different remote areas of the country.
