ISLAMABAD - Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdul Aziz Al Ghadeer called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Thursday and exchanged views on bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

Talking to ambassador Al Ghadeer, Foreign Minister Khar said that Pakistan attached great importance to its fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia, which were based on complete trust and strong religious and historical links. She expressed satisfaction at the current status of bilateral relations adding that the two brotherly countries have always stood with each other and worked closely for the peace and stability of the region.

Talking about Pakistan's trade with the GCC countries, the Foreign Minister hoped that Saudi Arabia would extend its full support for the early finalization of the Free Trade Agreement between Pakistan and the GCC countries.

The Saudi Ambassador said that he regarded Pakistan as his second home and that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attached immense importance to its special relations with Pakistan.
