LAHORE : The TUSDEC has prepared a plan to increase export revenues from the fan industry of Pakistan. Research for the plan has been conducted in collaboration with PEFMA and Fan Development Institute, a spokesperson of TUSDEC said here on Thursday. The plan envisages cluster based international branding of the fan industry of Pakistan and overcoming various impediments that fan industry faces in meeting the international quality standards.
The research has divulged that the industry is experiencing a dearth of institutional support in quality certifications, testing facilities and provision of modern production equipment causing huge inefficiencies and wastage.
