KARACHI - The police during their ongoing drive against the criminals, arrested 145 accused during the past 24 hours. A police statement on Thursday said that those arrested included 107 absconders and 10 proclaimed offenders. It said that there were 10 encounters with the alleged criminals in which six gangs were busted.
As many as 22 pistols, two pistols, one hand grenade and two mobile phones were recovered by the police from their possession. The police have registered cases and started investigations.
