MIRANSHAH - At least 12 security personnel were injured when their vehicle hit a roadside planted bomb here on Saturday.

Political administration sources said that blast took place in main town of South Waziristan Agency (SWA) where a vehicle carrying troops hit a roadside bomb.

As a result of explosion, the vehicle was severely damaged leaving 12 security men seriously injured.

The injured were shifted to agency headquarters hospital where, according to hospital sources, condition of some wounded troops was stated to be critical.
