Police arrested four culprits for preparing kites and metallic strings during a raid at a factory in Gur Mandi here on Monday. The police also recovered more than 50,000 kites along with thousands of metres string were also recovered from the factory. The police said that factory owner Waseem is among the arrested persons. The police have launched a vigorous campaign to ensure ban on kites business and flying to protect precious lives. Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif has directed the authorities to take strict action against violators of the ban.–INP
