KAMALIA - The PML-N government is implementing anti-farmer policies which have destroyed country's agriculture.

Talking to media men on the occasion of Walima reception of of local journalist brother's Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Leader Ch Mohammad Ashfaq grilled the government for "what he called" its misplaced priorities resulting in wastage of national resources on projects which have nothing with the welfare of the common man.

"Food, shelter, clothing, health and education are basic necessities of life while unemployment and inflation have further added to the miseries of the common man," he said.

Criticising mega projects of the Punjab government, he said that 'colorful buses' plying on a single route would not end unemployment and price hike.

"These projects have nothing to offer to the public who are more concerned about his bread and butter," he said.

"The government is going to every extent to damage agriculture sector and continues its anti-farmers policies," the PTI leader regretted. He said that the PML-N government's approach towards agriculture sector, the mainstay of national economy, is regretful, adding that the poor farmers are facing economic massacre at the hands of the government which is hell-bent on adding to their miseries. He claimed that agri products like rice and wheat are not being sold as per its support prices. "It is dreadful that farmers the country which's 70pc population is attached with agriculture, are being treated in such a way," he pointed out.
