Deteriorating law and order: some heads must roll

The Lahore Railway Station blast is a major blow to the Pakistan government and its law enforcement agencies. After the Bhoja Air crash, people opted to travel by train and now the latter too has become risky and dangerous. The blast site, Platform Two, is used by the Awami Express, the train mostly used by poor people. It seems that our entire transportation network is being deliberately targeted. The SSP Railways Police has said that security at the station was infallible and satisfactory; however, more than 16 CCTV cameras installed at the station were out of order. Is this what is called a satisfactory security situation? Security of the public should be the top priority of the government.
