London (Nawa-i-Waqt): Law Society of England’s (LSE) council elections 2013 are being conducting from May 23 to June 20.

LSE has cleared renowned Pakistani law expert Muhammad Aslam Sheikh to contest the elections. A 60-member council will be elected for four years in the poll, in which solicitors from England, Pakistan, China, Africa and India will take part. As many as 6,000 registered solicitors will vote in the elections.

This year, senior Solicitor Muhammad Aslam, expert of international human rights laws and also has vast experience of British immigration laws, is starting his campaign for the polls of Law Society of England.

He is also life members of Lahore High Court Bar Association and Lahore Bar Association.
