JS Bank to introduce 4G enabled Branchless
LAHORE (PR): JS Bank Limited and Inov8 Limited (i8) have signed an agreement for the implementation of a Branchless Banking and Mobile Financial Services solution. JS Bank plans to enter into the branchless banking domain by developing a large agent network by partnering with telecom and other companies to deliver a unique services that are currently not available.

Ninthd signs deal with Carnegie Mellon versity
LAHORE (PR): iCarnegie Global Learning, a subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University, has signed an agreement with ninthd (9th D). In order to offer international certifications to fresh graduates, entrepreneurs, employees, employers, businessmen and organisations in Pakistan at unbeatable prices. The contract will allow iCarnegie Global Learning to share its valuable knowledge, research and experience with ninthd, so it can build economically viable skills (EVS) for the youth of Pakistan. The certifications will be offered in blended model, which means trainees can learn anywhere, anytime by simply accessing online lectures and course materials in satellite campus. Moreover these course shall also be available in Urdu language

Descon Training Institute inaugurated
LAHORE (PR): Descon Training Institute (DTI) formally inaugurated its modern new 40,000 ft2 training facility in Lahore.
DTI is a premier institute TVET and was established in 2006 under the patronage of Descon Engineering to provide skills based training to under-privileged youth. Since its inception, DTI has trained over 20,000 youth in 14 different professional trades.
DTI is a not-for-profit organization and has a modern 10 acre campus in Lahore. DTI’s philosophy and mantra is Education for Livelihood and this modern new facility will greatly enable it to train more youth so as to prepare them for gainful employment in the industry or for starting their own business. At the inauguration ceremony, a large number of dignitaries were in attendance – this included key stakeholders such as Punjab Skills Development Fund and NAVTTC, donor agencies such as GIZ , corporate sector, and print & electronic media.
