KHYBER AGENCY  -  Around 1,500 families received food packages under the World Food Programme (WFP) in various parts of tehsil Landi Kotal, Khyber Agency.
The WFP distributed food packages in collaboration with Hujra Organisation among deserving and vulnerable people in tribal area. The food package consists of 80kg floor, 4.1kg oil and 1kg oil.
Kiramat Shinwari, social organiser and Ahmad Ali, coordinator of HO, said they had started the process of distribution of food items among the masses since long and it had greatly facilitated the area's inhabitants.
Local tribesmen applauded the welfare programme and asked to maintain it in future.
