ISLAMABAD- Met Office said that persisting hot weather spell would subside by tomorrow . According to the department, Gilgit-Baltistan, certain areas of Punjab along with Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to receive light shower . Immense heat waves have gripped the entire Sindh. The temperature surpassed 40 centigrade in several cities including Nawab Shah, Sukkar and Hyderabad in Sindh. The roads wore a deserted look due to grilling heat throughout the country. On the other hand, Punjab residents headed towards canals to ward off scorching heat.
