ISLAMABAD – The Junior Tennis Initiative Programme opening ceremony was held here at Imperial International School F-10. Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) secretary Khalid Rehmani was the chief guest along with only Level-III coach Kamran Khalil. Managing Director Taimur Tanveer and administrator Raheela Asif appreciated the PTF efforts for promoting tennis in the school and assured their all-out support to promote the game. Around one hundred U-14 students were introduced to tennis in their schools. Kamran Khalil praised the role of school management for taking such initiative, which will help the kids in learning modern skills and become future champion of the country. This program will be expanded to other schools soon to help the PTF in overcoming acute shortage of players especially in females.
