ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital administration imposed about one lac rupee fine on hotels and shops, over use and sale of substandard food items.

A team of Capital Administration led by Assistant Commission Shalimar conducted operation in Sector G-10 of the federal capital.

The raiding team recovered poor quality cooking oil being used by restaurant which was later disposed of. It also checked the quality of food commodities, fruits and vegetables being sold by the shopkeepers.

The capital administration imposed overall fine of Rs 93,000 besides issuing warning of strict action if they did not mend their ways.
