BAHAWALNAGAR-The strike of the Tehsil Bar Association of Fortabbas entered the third day on Saturday over the alleged ill-attitude of civil judges, while litigants have been facing bafflement due to the bench- bar-row.

The lawyers have been observing strike for three days to record their protest against the attitude of civil judges.

According to Pervez Bajwa, the president of Tehsil Bar Association, four civil judges are posted here and all of them least bother to take interest in their duty matters. “All of them make judgments at retiring rooms and hardly spend even one hour at their courts. When the lawyers appear in their courts, they even misbehaved with them. The lawyers brought the situation in the notice of additional civil judge but he paid no heed to the issue,” he said.

The lawyers staged protest earlier but the situation could not be remedied. As a result, they have been observing strike for the last three days. Even the district and sessions judge and senior civil judge tried for reconciliation but to no avail. The TBA president further said that their strike will continue till the transfer of the four civil judges otherwise the circle of the protest will be extended.
