Rawalpindi: A five-member joint investigation team has been formed to probe the leaked video recording of Khalid Shamim, the main accused in Imran Farooq murder case. The investigation will start from Monday.

The investigation team headed by the Rawalpindi commissioner comprises Additional Secretary and Deputy Inspector General prisons, a Federal Investigation Agency official and a representative of forensic lab Lahore.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif have taken notice of the leaked video of Shamim in Adiala Jail. The Interior Minister has ordered a probe to fix responsibility. Punjab chief minister had also ordered an inquiry into the incident.
