FAISALABAD -  Three labourers, asleep on a footpath in Madina Town were stabbed to death by unidentified accused late the other night.

The police, however, termed the incident result of old enmity, reported a private TV on Saturday.

The police shifted the dead bodies to Allied Hospital.

The police said that unidentified culprits murdered the three labourers in Madina Town’s Chak 208 Morr. The slain men were identified as Ghulam Asghar, Muhammad Akram and Mushtaq, son of Atta Muhammad.

On information, the police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The security personnel stated that a sharp-edged weapon had been used in the murders.

The bereaved families, however, said that it could be a terror attack.
