Sources said the first flight carrying relief goods from Saudi Arabia has arrived in Pakistan. The relief operation in the quake hit Balochistan picking up pace as the cold weather gets even colder with time, requiring more emergency steps. The assessment of the total loss in the Wednesday's earthquake has not yet been made but according to a moderate estimate, the tragedy rendered at least 70,000 people displaced. The aftershocks continue to hit the affected areas as the relief operations are being carried out there.
