ISLAMABAD - The management of FG Margalla College for Women, F-7/4, is receiving anonymous threats of attacks on the faculty and the movement of suspicious people along side the back gate of the college is adding to the miseries of the already fear-stricken students and teachers. According to reliable sources, the faculty staff of the College is receiving threats that have created great sense of insecurity and fear among the students and staff. It has been leant that the outer walls of the college, especially boundary walls of the backside, needed uplift. Sources informed that a madrassa named Jamia Qasamia situated on the backside of the college is also one of the main reasons of panic among the students and the staff. Furthermore, sources maintained that despite it that the government had directed the security agencies and departments concerned to take immediate steps to ensure security in the educational institutions but, so far, no security measure had been taken. It is to be mentioned here that the sources also said that fear had also griped students of the University of Wah, situated at Wah cantt. Most of the students of the said university complained that at a time when all government and private schools, colleges and universities had been closed throughout the country because of security situation after twin suicide blasts at International Islamic University Islamabad, their administration was not closing down their university. They said that the university was situated nearby two military-run educational institutions and the security measures that have been provided to them were not enough. They said that the university administration must arrange enough security measures for them or closed down their institute temporarily for security reasons.
